Scrap collections are made from Local Authorities,Engineering Works,Building Sites,and other smaller merchants.Deliveries are made direct to the yard by various tradespeople and independent collectors and general public.Weighbridge facilities are provided on site. All grades of metal are processed-Mortimers operate the only metal recycling facility in Bury and adheres to the strict criteria laid down by the Environment Agency.Much investment has been made into processing machinery that can strip cable,shears anything from small copper pipes to thick steel plate.
